The Authority currently has the following job openings:

PAYROLL REPRESENTATIVE

 Essential Duties:

Under the general direction of the Accounting Supervisor this position will be responsible for all payroll processing activities for North Penn Water Authority.

 Specific Responsibilities:

  • Inputs and maintains payroll information
  • Produces weekly payroll checks
  • Maintains files, including payroll documentation, and other miscellaneous filings
  • Maintain fixed assets
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation
  • Other miscellaneous accounting and cash management duties 

 Requirements:

  • Normal hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
  • Minimum three years of experience processing payroll in-house or with a payroll vendor
  • Microsoft Great Plains/Dynamics Experience

 

UTILITY WORKER

 North Penn Water Authority is looking for an able bodied individual to work for us as a Utility Worker.

 This position will be working primarily outdoors and will have the following responsibilities:

  • Assist Utility Staff with water system maintenance and repair
  • Perform digging with shovel in order to expose water pipes
  • Clean and maintain company tools and equipment
  • Complete Mark Outs of existing water system appurtenances
  • Paint fire hydrants
  • Carry tools and equipment from company vehicles to work sites
  • Need to descend into 3 to 5 foot deep excavations and perform repairs
  • Flagging and traffic control
  • Available for after-hours call outs for emergency repairs

 The qualified candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • Able to lift and carry/push/pull a minimum of 100 pounds
  • Have a valid driver’s license
  • Good physical mobility
  • Good balance
  • Good hand to eye coordination and dexterity
  • High School Diploma or GED

     Normal hours: Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm
