North Penn Water Authority Thanks Community and Staff for Participation in 2020 Toys for Tots Program
Lansdale, Pa.—February 3, 2021—NPWA wants to thank our customers, community businesses and NPWA employees for their generosity this past holiday season. For the 21st year, NPWA was a drop-off site for the Toys for Tots Program, sponsored by the U.S. Marine Corps.
Local organizations and communities, including Harrington Village, contributed donations to NPWA’s collection this year. The donation boxes in NPWA’s lobby totaled more than 430 toys and 30 books, as well as receiving $200 for Toys for Tots to purchase additional items.
The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through the gift of a new toy, the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to less fortunate children.
“On behalf of NPWA, I want to thank the community and our employees who donated to Toys for Tots this year,” said Anthony J. Bellitto, Jr. P.E., executive director of North Penn Water Authority. “We look forward to continuing this tradition of supporting an organization that makes Christmas a little brighter for families in need in our region.”
